Table Tennis Teacher Training- Activator course

Cavan Sports Partnership and Table Tennis Ireland are now taking registrations for the Teachers Activator Award Course.

The award is a Table Tennis Ireland initiative aimed at providing a practical introduction to table tennis as well as ideas for coaching activities in schools, youth groups and disability services, clubs and community groups.

*Please note this course is not just for teachers, any multi sport coaches, volunteers, parents or table tennis enthusiasts are welcome!*

What is included

Certification
Teaching Plans
One Resource Pack Per School (10 bats, balls & 5 nets)
Free membership to Table Tennis Ireland for the year ahead

The Teachers Award Course will provide participants with the knowledge to:

Introduce players to the basic skills of table tennis in a fun and exciting way
Have the creativity and confidence to deliver table tennis sessions to students
Make the skills activities easier or harder for different ability levels
For schools, identify where table tennis can be introduced to the school curriculum
