Club Support

Cavan Sports Partnership offers a range of supports to local clubs, which includes

• Highlighting annual funding opportunities for clubs, including Local Authority schemes and the National Sports Capital Programme, while also offering an annual grant scheme.
• A directory of clubs and facilities across the county helps individuals and communities easily find local sports options. CSP offers clubs platforms to promote their work and raise awareness of events.
• Subsidised training and education for coaches, volunteers, and administrators, as well as development planning support to increase participation.
• Participation Opportunities, in conjunction with our partners, coordinate club and community based activities to engage new people within club settings and promote sustainable pathways.
• Assistance available to clubs, including new clubs in the area of governance, funding, and best practices to ensure successful setups

The Sports Partnership advise that the club is affiliated to the appropriate National Governing Body of Sport (NGB) and is committed to the Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Childrens Sport.
