Cavan Sports Partnership also utilises a number of advisory groups and committees to provide expertise and guidance on specific areas of sport and physical activity. These groups help ensure that CSP’s initiatives are grounded in best practices and are responsive to the needs of the community. Currently CSP have two active committees:

  • Inclusion Committee: this group focus on ensuring that CSP’s programmes are inclusive and accessible to people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and other underrepresented groups.
  • Sports Development Network: These groups provide advice and support in the areas of coaching, training & education, and provide a forum whereby sporting coaches and volunteers can come together to network and plan towards the growth of sports clubs and community initiatives.
