1) IT'S NOT A BORE TO WORK YOUR CORE!!
Get those postural muscles stronger while you are safe at home! Simple 10 minute exercise programme from HSE Physiotherapists in the Child Development Team, Monaghan/Cavan to strengthen your core muscles. Why not give it a go and have the whole family complete these exercises together?!! Repetitions given in this programme are a guide only and something each child / parent can aim for with practise!
2) LOOSEN UP DURING LOCKDOWN!!
A 10 minute stretching session for the whole body as advised by your local HSE Physiotherapists in the Child Development Team, Monaghan / Cavan. Help to stretch out those muscles from positions of sitting, bending, screen time, computer time, housework and school work! Take 10 for your family to loosen up with these simple stretching exercises!
3) REV UP YOUR MOTOR SKILLS FOR 4-8 YEAR OLDS!!!
A 10 minute work-out to develop the gross motor skills of your 4-8 year old as advised by the HSE Physiotherapists in the Child Development Team, Monaghan / Cavan!
Challenge your children to these 6 exercises which target co-ordination, bilateral integration, balance, strength and ball skills. With a little bit of fun thrown in!!
4) REV UP YOUR MOTOR SKILLS FOR 9-18 YEAR OLDS!!
A 10 minute circuit style work-out to continue the development of the gross motor skills of your 9-18 year old as advised by the HSE Physiotherapists in the Child Development Team, Monaghan / Cavan!
Challenge your children to these 6 exercises which target co-ordination, bilateral integration, balance, strength and ball skills. With a little bit of fun thrown in!!
